Maris actively invests across four core divisions: Property Services, Business Services, Mining, and Agriculture and Forestry. The largest part of the Property Services division, Africa Logistics Properties, is focused on building, owning and operating Grade A warehousing, industrial property and logisitics parks. The other part of the divisions constructs and operates long-term serviced accommodation in frontier locations for multinational clients.
The Business Services division includes META Group, our regional machinery dealership, and Equator Energy, the largest commercial and industrial solar power provider in East Africa. The Mining & Resources division concentrates on bringing stranded gold mines back into highly cash-generative production.
The Agriculture & Forestry division owns Equatoria Teak Company, the second largest sustainable teak grower in Africa. It also owns a large share of Tatepa, the third largest tea exporter and second largest avocado producer in Tanzania.
